Both of my boys are color blind!
The school nurse called last week to tell me that while Henry's vision accurcy is okay, he is moderately color-blind. I would have never guessed! I've heard of it being more common for boys/men to lack "color awareness" in regards to blues/greens. However Henry has always correctly identified blue/green and all shades in between (turquiose, aqua, etc). So when the nurse called me and told me he had tested him 3 times and confirmed he is technically color-blind. Hmm, okay, whatever.
So today, Lincoln went to have a preschool exam. Since he's in speech therapy he had to take a vision test as part of the requirement to stay in this program after he's 3 - if he still qualifies for it. So while is accuracy (or whatever it's called) is 20/20, he too is color blind!
Don't think it means much. They'll just need some advice from mama/girlfriends/wives on matching clothes, right?
