ooh, ohh! I'm on a hot streak of posting now! (Compared to my last year of blogging anyhoo)

I took my motorcycle riding course over the weekend. That was tougher than I thought! Friday night from 6-10pm, Saturday & Sunday from 7am-4pm!
Friday night it was all classroom. Information overload! We had a mini-test that night that was pretty easy. Saturday morning we started at 7am SHARP. We were on the bikes by 7:10am after getting our instructions. The class was fantastic - showing us where everything is located on the bike, how to start it, how to recognize the feeling when the clutch starts to engage. I was very impressed with how organized the material was and the RiderCoaches were so helpful.
We were on and off bikes all morning - getting instructions then practicing on the bikes - until 12:30pm when we broke for lunch. The afternoon was spent in the classroom covering other material. Sunday morning again was spent on the riding course. I HATED the first part on the course - u-turns. UGH! The next practice was swerving with was much better and fun! At 11:30am or so we started our riding exam. I did much better while practicing than for the actual test - I felt like puking waiting in line for each part of the test. 2 people did fail the test :( It made the rest of us nervous to watch people make mistakes too so it compounded the problem.
We went inside the classroom after lunch to finish bookwork, then took the written exam (I got 100%) then we got our certificates of completion! Tomorrow I will get my license!

...dang outta time. try to blog more later
