Praise the Pizza Man, the boss has left the building.

I'm so stressed. My boss is on my ass about every little thing, he makes rude comments and butts in where he doesn't belong. I hate my job duties, I'm sick of monkey work, I'm sick of making copies for people who loose the originals or want them a different size or on different colored paper. This is such a typical corporate office anymore. grumble, grumble. moan, moan.

The boys have been going to their Dad's every other weekend for a couple months now. He gets them on Friday night or Saturday morning and I pick them up Sunday at 7pm. Even though Celso gives them a shower before he sends them home, I make them take a shower when they get home because of the funk of Celso's apartment. Colby says it smells like burned oil - which is highly possible since they cook with oil for every meal. I didn't used to mind it but either it is worse now or I just am irritated with what that smell represents.

I'm so anxious for spring. We have a day of sunshine and highs in the 70s and then the very next day, BAM! it drops to the 30s and we have snow and ice! freakin kansas weather. I want to take the kids to the park, feel the breeze, smell the fresh air, feel the warm sunshine on my skin and listen to the kids running and laughing. Soon!

I'm looking forward to 2008 more than I think I have any year. Colby is working on moving in but slowly. I've emptied one of my closets to give to him. I've started washing his work clothes at my house so he doesn't have to go to his house to get clean clothes and wash them. He hardly spends anytime at his house anymore. I love it, but I know it's stressful on him at the same time. His house is just sitting there, empty. So this year, we will get him moved out of his house getting it rented and he will officially move in with me. My roommate should be there until June or so. I'm glad she is there because she's helping me with the mortgage payment but we could use the room to get Lincoln and Morgan their own room. I hope once she wants to move, I can pay the bills on my own or Colby will be able to contribute.
This year I also hope to get engaged, heck the rate we're going, I'd better be engaged! :-) This I'm very excited about. I've never really been engaged before - to have an engagement period will be exciting.
Lincoln will turn 5 on May 12, then graduate from preschool on May 30 with a graduation party. He is already really excited about that and is talking about who to invite.
Then, starting the first week of June, both Lincoln & Henry will start with The Field Trip Club! They are both very excited to be together.
This spring both will play soccer and in the summer, Henry plays baseball again and Lincoln will do t-ball. In August, Lincoln starts kindergarten and a new daycare. I will drop him off in the morning, they will bus him to school for PM kdg then pick him up later and I will pick him up at daycare. Henry will go into 3rd grade!

In March we're taking a couple days off and heading down to see my Dad, Grandma and Aunt. Boys say it has been "forever" since they've been. (Forever = Aug 07)

Oooh, and March 10th is a BIG day for me!! Oh yes it is! :-D I will get a new cell phone! haha I left mine in a bathroom stall Feb 28 and went back for it 30 minutes later and they'd already turned it off. Gone forever. So Henry's account is due for a new phone on March 10 so I'm getting a phone then. My account is due Sept 24 I think so I'll get Henry a new phone for his birthday. He'll be quite pleased.

What else, oh yes, Colby & Morgan might be going on a cruise with his family in April. No further comment on that at this time.
