Sickies, sickes, go away, come again another day... or not at all if I could help it.

Bryant was home from sick Friday, when I saw that night he was still ill, Henrique had a sore throat and my mom was sick. Soo, in order to infect others and keep the healthy ones from getting sick again, I cancelled the party I was having Saturday night. Henry was pretty bummed about it until I get a message from one of his school mates mother asking if he was coming to the birthday party THAT day. yikes. Rush to get ready, rush to get a gift, rush to the party. Party is 20 min from our house so I take the other 3 boys to Oak Park Mall (share your germs boys!) to blow the time. We spent nearly the entire time in B.Dalton browsing. Lincoln LOVED the Dora selection. He also really liked a Winnie the Pooh musical book. He sat on the floor and jammed along with that and did his best to get me to buy it but I didn't.

When we all got back home I was exhausted from a stressful day so I took a nap. LOVE afternoon naps! Lincoln crashed at 5pm, I fixed dinner and then the 3 older boys and I play the family version of Cranium. Big Fun!

Last Thursday Henry participated in the Raingutter Regatta pinewood boat race at his scout meeting. He won 3 races and lost 2.

As a mother, I just rock! LOL Least right now I do. Last 2 years I've taken Henry and Lincoln to "events" for their Christmas gifts. Last year Henry and I went to a Monster Truck Jam show and Lincoln and I went to Sesame Street Live, aka The Elmo Show. This year, I offer the same to the boys - tickets, gifts or the GREAT WOLF LODGE! The 3 older ones chose Great Wolf right off but Lincoln wanted cotton candy LOL So I'll be the awesome mama that gets him cotton candy AND take him to GWL. :o) I called just a few minutes ago and they were all booked up except for one night, Dec 20 - the first day the boys don't have school. I called Lidia to get her thoughts and left her a message. Called Celso to ask him his thoughts - after a slight twist of the arm, he agreed to go. We're getting this room that sleeps 7 so that means... Celso, Lidia and myself and all 4 boys are going!! I'm SO excited!! I'm done with my Christmas shopping! LOL Celso will pitch in some $$ and I'm sure Lidia will so that'll help defray the cost. So now I just have Santa gifts and stocking stuffers - of which I've already accumlated some.

I'm taking the day off tomorrow to go the Science City with Henrique on his school field trip. Yippee skippy! I feel just like a kid when I take field trips with them.

Thursday night is Henrique's school play. This has been a big deal for him so I'm excited for him.

Friday I get to have lunch with my good friend Amanda whom I miss!

Saturday I work but that night Henry (and maybe Henrique & Bryant) and I are going to the church to watch The Chronicles of Narnia.

Sunday I teach Sunday School but Lincoln will sing in the Cherub Choir! I'm really looking forward to how he does... he preforms well on the "small stage" but what the "large state", in front of many people...?? stay tuned for the update.
