I need some good thoughts and prayers please! I got an email from Lincolns' sitter last night. Basically Lincoln is being a Stinkin Lincoln and she doesn't know "what do to with him" or how to handle his behavior. She has "fired" several kids from her care in the past year so I want to say she likes to take the easy way out. blah. Lincoln is very happy there, when he was home sick Monday he cried wanting to go see her/go to her house. If he didn't want to go, or if I thought he wasn't being treated fairly I would have changed the situation long ago.
So she says Lincoln "constantly teases the other kids", "has torn two books on purpose and told me about it after he did it" and "took one of the new brick blocks and hit it as hard as he could on the rubbermaid box and put a dent in it".
Poor sitter lady. Poor Linky. He's bored, needs more stimulation too. I have told her about all the changes that happen in my life - probably more than that is necessary.
I have an interview with YMCA on Tuesday to check out their preschool and program. They have scholarships available - which I'll need. Henry went to Y-Care, their after school program in kindergarten and qualified for a discount so I hope we still do, I think we would. So, that is the part I need fingers and toes crossed for, please!
On the working note - I've cut back on my hours. I'm now working Monday and Wednesday nights only and then Saturday OR Sunday. Not both. And on Monday evening I got in at 6:30pm so I can be with the kids for a bit, and then start at 4:30/5:00pm on Wednesdays.
My mother is still the same. More excuses as to why she can't help with money. Gee, thanks mom.
Yesterday and Today the weather has been Beautiful! Love It!
