Humdeedum... work is so boring. My right shoulder has been hurting for days. Too much mouse use from the day job? Too much writing from the night job? Sumpin else? Dunno.. but.. owie!
The field trip with Henrique was fun. 5th graders have a 5 page questionnaire thingy they have to fill out as they go from station to station. It asked good questions and it got my approval - boys didn't complain either. Lunch was blah. I used to like Lunchable and I don't know. Meat is bland. Cheese is bland and I'm still hungry afterwards! I usually make my own version of it for the kids lunch but I thought to buy it premade was fun and would be special.... I can be wrong!
I'm going to a dinner party of sorts tomorrow night with 2 other families. My parenting group puts 3 families together for dinner and we rotate what family hosts and what families attend. This is the second round and first time I've participated. Host is serving tacos, one family is bringing chips/salsa/guac and I'm bringing my black beans, saffron rice and ice cream tacos. Having tacos tomorrow night is making me want to make tacos at home next week. The older 2 boys aren't coming to dinner so I just may do that... on Tuesday night which has become "family game night". HUGE hit! Boys love it and the older 2 spend the night. Now I just need more games!
