Okay, okay, I'm back to blogging. I've been mentally exhausted and not up to blogging. Thought about blogging several times a day but didn't have the energy behind it to follow through.
There is a storm brewing outside right now and I feel good! We'd have temps in the upper 90s to 100+ this week... this is the break we needed. Its 64ยบ out right and feels great! The lows this week has been in the 80s.. yucky start to the day!
So its Friday and the weekend is right around the corner. Tomorrow night I'm having a birthday party with another friend that recently turned 30. BBQ...BYOB...karaoke...good times! I burned some CDs with a mix ofo our music collections to be played during the party... then after the kids leave and go to bed, we have 2 'adult' CDs to put on. Dirteee!
Henry has had a BLAST at FTC this week. The leader/owner, whatever you want to call her, offered to let Henrique & Bryant come this week! How generous! So they went Wednesday and had a great time. I picked them up at the library and ML asked if the boys could come the next day! Isn't that sweet?! I pay for Henry and she's letting his brothers come for free - 2 days!
So the boys said they did want to go again, so they spend the night with us - after we picked up a couple pizzas and watched a movie from the library - Shiloh (a book Henrique & I both read together for book club). It was a great evening with all 4 boys!
So I picked them up last night and we all went straight to the pool and played for nearly 2 hours! Lincoln is able to go down the slide by himself now and keep the right way - not get turned around feet first - unless he does it on purpose, lil stinker. I got to keep them again for dinner so we used Grammy's Taco Bell bucks she got from working at Pizza Hut and had a nice dinner that I only had to pay $6 cash for!
Tonight I'm hoping Celso will keep all the boys so I can clean house. I've neglected it for weeks, maybe a couple months now. Only vacuuming but not dusting and only picking up what is necessary. I guess I've been in a slump since the ordeal with Celso started. This week hasn't been any different but this storm has really helped me. :) I am ready to pick up and get on with my life!
