To those of you that read my blog...(Hi Amy! Who else?) I'm sorry that I haven't updated in a while and the month of April just sucked for blogging.
My personal life was(is?) in the the crapper...least it was in April. Today starts a new month and I can only hope it'll be a better month. Lots of exciting things this month happen in regards to the kids so I will focus on that. I will try and blog and focus on the kids and be positive.
Today. This morning I had a dentist appt at 8am to fix a filling. Ouch. It is 2:12pm and the numbness is going away so I can feel my tongue again but I can also feel pain.
Henry threw-up this morning about 2am. I woke to a gurgling/choking sound and then him throwing up. He was awake for about 1.5hours feeling pukey. We did back rubs and pats until we fell asleep. I sent him to school today and he was fine! This kid has done random pukes since he was wee little. What is up with that?!
Lincoln was so funny this weekend. One time I was laying on my stomach in bed and Lincoln was straddling my back and kinda standing up then sitting down on my lower back - but hard. So I told him "Stop jumping on Mommy's back, it hurts" My little lawyer says "No jumping Mommy, bouncing"
A big Lincoln funny happened last week, Friday April 21st. I am at the sitters to pick him up. Everyone is outside and Samantha, the recently-turn-4-year old that is the sitters daughter is playing something happened - somehow she was sitting or tripped or something, and she was crying and peeing in her pants while wearing a dress. Everyone saw, watching, including Lincoln and he was playing with a tennis ball. Well, he dropped the ball and calmly walked over to the van and was ready to leave. I excused ourselves and we left. On the way home Lincoln is talking about his birthday party (HUGE subject in our house right now) and he says, I kid you not:
"Samantha come me party no. Samantha pee her pants me party no."
I am still surprised that he was able say that and those are his words verbatim but to have that thought! And there is more... later on that week he kept talking about it. He was obviously very embarrassed for her and doesn't want her to do that at his party! So he comes up with this idea - no I can't remember exactly how he said it but this was the idea: He wanted me to talk to Samantha's mom and dad (he said their names) and talk to them about her peeing in her pants at the party. While I talked to them he was going to wait in the van! Sounds like I'm exaggerating this but I'm not. This kid is different I tell you!
Last day of school for Henry is the 22nd. Last day for the other boys is the 24th. The count down has started!
Nest Tuesday I'm taking the day off and going to the zoo with Henry and his school class!
Both Henry and I are excited!
Lincoln turns 3 on the 12th and everyone is VERY excited! His party will be the 13th in the afternoon... after our 3 soccer games and 1 baseball game. Whew!
